- Olive Oil
Agricultural ProductionBiniagual is an agricultural estate which focuses on wine production but which also breeds sheep, grows cereals and forage for feeding its flock, and boasts citrus, olive and almond trees.
There are approximately 4000 citrus trees on the estate including orange, lemon and clementine trees. While the lemon trees bear fruit all year round, the oranges and clementines are more seasonal.
Thanks to a careful selection process and a careful mixture of varieties, we have oranges from October till the end of May. The clementines tend to mature during the months of November and December.
In addition, we have about 2000 other trees spread out over 180 hectares; these include almond, carob, fig and grenadine trees. All these are typical of the Mallorcan countryside, just as the oak and wild olive trees, and the flocks of sheep (Biniagual boasts about 500 sheep). By taking care of these aspects we are contributing to maintaining Mallorca’s traditional landscape and countryside, one very much known and loved the world over.
